Socks

Oi.  It’s 11:30 on a Saturday night and here I am having the time of my life… writing on my dog blog…  I got home earlier tonight from a birthday party and little miss Yuki managed to find a can of Pam olive oil spray.  She didn’t eat the can, she just likes to take it to prove she was upset I left her.  However, I suspect Bacio somehow got sprayed, because he wouldn’t stop licking his legs and paws.  I examined his legs and paws, and there were no cuts or any signs of a rash.  It confirmed my suspicions that he had the cooking spray on him, so I wiped his legs off with a warm rag.

Ten minutes went by and the little bugger was licking his legs again.  I sprayed them with lemon juice to keep him from licking.  That worked for about a minute.  After that he decided to just truck on through the sour.  Actually I think he kinda liked the flavor.  So I picked him up and put in him the tub, half filled with warm water and oatmeal shampoo.  I washed his legs off and took him out of the tub, dried him off and sent him on his way.

I don’t know if he started licking his legs because they were wet, or if they were still bugging him, but he left me no choice.  I put socks on his front legs so he would quit it and now he pretty much hates me.  He will thank me later… maybe… Or just eat my face off when I’m sleeping… We’ll see tomorrow!

I hate you mom.
