The coloring around his incision is getting back to normal, and his butt isn&#8217;t so pink now that the hair is starting to grow back. \u00a0He&#8217;s finally getting more comfortable in the kennel, and actually tries to get back in the kennel and hide when I pull out the ice pack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.my2whitedogs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Stitches1.21-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-738\" width=\"512\" height=\"384\"\/><figcaption>It looks like a football&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sleeping Arrangements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Those of you in Chicago know how cold it has been&#8230; Bacio doesn&#8217;t like being outside very long cause his butt is so naked. \u00a0He does enjoy the fact that he&#8217;s out of the crate though. He rests much better out of the crate, so at night I keep tying the dogs on opposite ends of the room and I&#8217;ve moved the mattress to the ground. This way Bacio doesn&#8217;t give me sad eyes if I go on the bed with Yuki, and we can all get better rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rehabilitation and Massage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I started gently massaging the leg to get the blood flowing better. \u00a0I downloaded a recovery guide from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhoguide.com\">fhoguide.com<\/a>. \u00a0I thought touching his leg this soon would bother him, but he fell right asleep. \u00a0Today when I took him out it was very cold, but he seemed to be putting his leg down better. \u00a0Once inside where it was warm, <strong>he walked with all 4 paws<\/strong> only with the occasional limp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yuki is starting to get cabin fever; she wants to play with her brother. \u00a0She sits close to his crate and patiently waits for him to be better. \u00a0Or maybe she just sits that close trying to get his toys and treats out of the crate with her jedi mind tricks. \u00a0She&#8217;s been on her meds for her UTI and they appear to be helping. \u00a0I will try and get a little video up soon of Bacio so you can all see his progress. \u00a0As I had mentioned before, pictures are being posted more often on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/my2whitedogs\">Facebook<\/a> account. \u00a0If you are on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/my2whitedogs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a> you can follow us there to0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.my2whitedogs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-20130121_174525.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.my2whitedogs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-20130121_174525.jpg\" alt=\"image\" title=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Appearances Improve Bacio&#8217;s FHO recovery is coming along. \u00a0It has only been the first few days of many to come, but I&#8217;ve already seen progress.
